Waldmann Zera Bed

The Waldmann ZERA.bed is a wall-mounted bedhead luminaire for patient rooms in a slim anodised aluminium housing with a white opal cover. Indirect 3000K ambient light washes the ceiling while a direct reading light covers the bed, and the larger ZEW 9000 and ZEW 11000 add a 4000K examination light at CRI 95 that lights the patient from head to toe without dazzling the next bed.

It comes in three sizes, from 6900lm at 60W on the ZEW 7000 to 10890lm at 122W on the ZEW 11000, at CRI 80 for the ambient light and CRI 90 for the 2700K reading light. Versions are switched, with an optional separate examination switch, or DALI, and the VTL biodynamic version shifts the ambient light from 3000K to 6500K through the day. It is rated IP20, protection class I, tested to EN 60598-2-25 and mounts on a wall rail with connections reachable from the top.
