The RAILLIGHTING Railsens is a radar sensor that adds presence detection to a Railpuck walkway line, holding the lights at 3% until it detects a person and then bringing them to full output. It is designed to pick up people while ignoring small animals and background movement.
It covers about 1.5 x 2.0m, holds full output for 30 minutes after the last detection, draws 1.2W and runs on the same 36V DC line as the Railpuck, so it can go into a new installation or be added to an existing line. It is rated IP66 and IP68 and IK10 for -40°C to +70°C.
