MaxiLED MaxiBATCAP

The MaxiLED MaxiBATCAP is a festoon globe with a solid black upper hemisphere that works as a built-in baffle, so no light goes above the horizontal and all of it is directed down to where people walk. It is certified Dark Sky Approved by DarkSky International in four categories: Commercial, Residential, Pedestrian Comfort and Wildlife-Tuned Sea Turtle Sensitive, the last with the amber version only.

It comes in static warm white at 2700K or 3000K, or monochromatic amber at 611nm with nothing emitted below 560nm, for turtle-nesting coasts and other light-sensitive habitats. Each 64mm globe draws 0.6W on a 24V SELV catenary, with up to 200 globes and 100m of run from one source. It is rated IP68 and IK07 and works from −40°C to 50°C, with a 5 year warranty.

It suits waterfronts, marinas, heritage precincts and observatory perimeters where festoon lighting is wanted without adding to sky glow. Globe spacing, globe count and starter cable length are set to order.
